Description
Where a patient room or soiled utility area needs to store two bedpans, the ASI 0559 double bed pan rack does it in one surface-mounted stainless steel unit. It measures 12 x 27 x 4-7/8 in. (305 x 686 x 124 mm) and takes conventional bedpans supplied by others.
The two bedpans stand vertically, one above the other, and each has its own T-strap to keep it from tipping out. Stacking them in a single rack saves wall space compared with two separate holders and keeps both pans off horizontal surfaces. The rack mounts to the wall surface, so it can be added to an existing room without opening the wall. Stainless steel construction is the healthcare standard because it cleans easily.
Bedpan shapes differ by manufacturer, and ASI notes that a physical bedpan is needed to confirm proper fit in the rack before ordering. Other versions are listed separately.
