About Fire Extinguishers
Portable fire extinguishers are required by NFPA 10 in every commercial building, regardless of what other suppression systems are installed. Selection comes down to hazard class (A, B, C, D, K), required size based on the hazard rating, and maximum travel distance from any point in the protected area. We quote the standard sizes from Amerex, Kidde, and Ansul. Send the hazard class and the floor area you are covering and we will size the order against NFPA 10.
