OSHA 1910.151(c) requires quick-drenching eyewash and shower facilities wherever corrosives are handled, and ANSI/ISEA Z358.1 defines what those fixtures must do: 15 minutes of tepid water, reachable within 10 seconds. OSHA 1910.157 and NFPA 10 govern extinguishers on the floor. Then come the restrooms and locker rooms, which take more abuse per square foot than anything outside a school: HDPE partitions, heavy-duty lockers, and stainless accessories that survive forklifts and three shifts a day. We list the washroom accessories and quote the compliance items and the rest of the durable specs.

Compliance & specs: OSHA 29 CFR 1910.151(c) requires suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body within the work area wherever the eyes or body may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials. ANSI/ISEA Z358.1 is the accepted performance standard: 0.4 gpm for eyewash and 20 gpm for showers, for 15 minutes, with tepid water (60°F–100°F), reachable within 10 seconds on the same level with no obstructions, and weekly activation of plumbed units. OSHA 1910.157 and NFPA 10 cover extinguisher selection, mounting, and monthly and annual inspection. Metal lockers are specified under CSI 10 51 13 and HDPE lockers under 10 51 26.
