Bobrick B-279

The Bobrick B-279 is a compact surface-mounted waste receptacle from the ClassicSeries, in satin-finish stainless steel, with a 6.4 gal. capacity. It is meant for small restrooms, exam rooms, and single-user toilet rooms where a full-size bin would crowd the space.

Bottom edges are hemmed for safety when the receptacle is handled during emptying. Inside, hooks hold the furnished reusable vinyl liner, which lifts out for servicing and drops back onto the hooks afterward. The unit is 14 in. wide, 18 in. high, and 6 in. deep, so it fits on a short wall section beside the lavatory.

ADA 307.2 limits wall-mounted objects to 4 in. of projection where the leading edge is 27 to 80 in. above the floor, so keep the placement of this 6 in. deep receptacle out of the circulation path. Larger surface-mounted and recessed Bobrick receptacles are listed separately.
