Bobrick B-290 1830.MBLK

The Bobrick B-290 1830.MBLK is an 18 in. W x 30 in. H (46 x 76cm) welded-frame commercial mirror with a matte black finish over a type 304 stainless steel angle frame. It is part of Bobrick's Matte Black Collection and is the size that fits above a single lavatory in an office, school, or hospitality restroom. Bobrick lists it as ADA compliant.

The frame is one piece, roll-formed to a 3/4 x 3/4 in. (19 x 19mm) angle, with corners heliarc welded, ground, and polished smooth before the matte black finish goes on. The frame edge is beveled where it meets the glass. The glass itself is No. 1 quality, 1/4 in. (6mm) thick, and is backed with galvanized steel to protect the silvering. The mirror hangs on a concealed wall hanger with theft-resistant mounting, so nothing is visible on the face and it resists removal.

Over a lavatory, ADA 603.3 requires the bottom of the reflecting surface no higher than 40 in. above the floor, and 35 in. where the mirror is not over a lavatory. Other sizes in the matte black B-290 line are listed separately.
