Bobrick B-3644

Bobrick's B-3644 is a ClassicSeries recessed waste receptacle in satin-finish stainless steel with a 12 gal. capacity, built to sit flush in the restroom wall. It suits public restrooms in schools, offices, and government buildings where the bin has to stay out of the circulation path and match a recessed towel dispenser above it.

A seamless beveled flange trims the wall opening with no visible joints. The 12 gal. receptacle is removable and locks into the cabinet, so it stays put in use but lifts out when a custodian needs to empty it. The cabinet requires a rough wall opening 16 in. wide by 29 1/4 in. high with a minimum depth of 4 in., so it is a new-construction or remodel item rather than a quick retrofit.

Bobrick lists the B-3644 as ADA compliant. Recessed receptacles keep the bin inside the wall and satisfy the 4 in. projection limit of ADA 307.2 for objects with a leading edge 27 to 80 in. above the floor.
