ASI 9013

The ASI 9013 is a recessed baby changing station for facilities that want a stainless steel unit rather than plastic. The body is welded stainless steel with a satin finish on every exposed surface, and the changing surface is high-impact-resistant plastic. It recesses into a 34-1/4 x 22-3/4 in. wall opening 3-3/4 in. deep and projects only 3/8 in. from the wall when closed. Open, the station measures 37 x 25-1/2 in. and extends 17-3/4 in. into the room.

A pull handle and concealed spring let a parent open and close the bed with one hand while holding a child. The plastic changing surface wipes clean between uses. A two-part adjustable safety strap holds the child in place. ASI rates the unit for infants up to 3.5 years old and a load of up to 50 lb (23 kg). The heavy-duty frame has also been tested to hold more than 250 lb, which matters where a station may be leaned on or misused.

ASI lists the 9013 as ADA compliant. It suits public restrooms where a stainless steel finish is specified to match the rest of the accessory schedule.
