Bobrick B-2974.MBLK

The Bobrick B-2974.MBLK is a surface-mounted automatic roll paper towel dispenser from the ClassicSeries line, in a powder-coated matte black finish over stainless steel. It is meant for commercial restrooms in hospitality, office, and retail settings where black fixtures are part of the design. It takes an 8 in. wide by 8 in. diameter roll. The unit measures 12 5/8 in. wide, 15 1/2 in. high and 9 1/16 in. deep and extends 9 1/16 in. from the wall.

A light on the cabinet directs users to the towel activation zone, so first-time users know where to place their hands. The door has a flush lock and a piano hinge, keeping the face clean with nothing to snag. The dispenser can be powered by an AC adapter or by 4 alkaline D cells, which are not included.

Automatic operation removes the lever, the operable part ADA 309.4 limits to 5 lbf. Because the cabinet extends 9 1/16 in. from the wall, keep it out of circulation paths where the 4 in. projection limit of ADA 307.2 applies, and place the activation zone within the 15 to 48 in. reach range of ADA 308.
