Bobrick B-6699

Bobrick's B-6699 is a surface-mounted, single-roll toilet tissue dispenser in bright polished stainless steel with a hood over the roll. It suits commercial restrooms where the wall or partition cannot be cut for a recessed unit and where a mirror-bright finish is needed to match other polished accessories. The chrome-plated plastic spindle carries a standard roll up to 5-1/8 in. in diameter, roughly 1500 sheets.

The stainless steel hood covers the roll and keeps the paper cleaner and drier in a wet, high-traffic compartment. The unit measures 6-3/16 in. wide by 6-3/16 in. high, and the hood projects 4-3/4 in. from the wall with a full roll in place. Surface mounting means installation is a matter of fastening to the wall or partition, with no framed opening to build, which makes it a practical pick for retrofits.

Bobrick lists the B-6699 as ADA compliant. Under ADA 604.7 the dispenser goes 7 to 9 in. in front of the water closet, with the outlet 15 to 48 in. above the floor and not behind the grab bars, and it must allow continuous paper flow. The same hooded dispenser is listed separately in another finish, and a two-roll hooded version is listed for busier restrooms.
