Bobrick B-685

The Bobrick B-685 is a surface-mounted single-roll toilet tissue dispenser in bright polished stainless steel, the open-arm style found in hotel, office, and healthcare restrooms. It is sized for a standard roll up to 5-1/2 in. in diameter, about 1800 sheets, carried on a chrome-plated plastic spindle.

The support-arm flanges lock onto a concealed stainless steel wall plate. The plate goes on the wall first and the dispenser locks over it. That hides the mounting plate behind the finished face and gives the holder a solid grip on the wall. The dispenser is 7-1/4 in. wide by 2 in. high and projects 3-15/16 in. from the wall, a low profile for tight compartments. Polished stainless steel wipes clean.

Bobrick lists the B-685 as ADA compliant. ADA 604.7 locates the dispenser 7 to 9 in. in front of the water closet, with the outlet 15 to 48 in. above the floor and clear of the grab bars, and requires continuous paper flow. This model is also listed separately in another finish, and a two-roll version doubles the paper between refills.
