Bobrick B-862

The Bobrick B-862 is the new-look Designer Series automatic foam soap dispenser for counter mounting, with a diecast zinc spout body in matte black. It is part of the TrimLineSeries, meant to pair with the matching Bobrick Designer Series faucet in hotel, restaurant, and office lavatories.

The touch-free sensor means no hand contact, which limits cross-contamination at the sink. Bobrick's patented top-fill design lets staff refill from above the counter, and the unit takes economical bulk jug soap, so the facility avoids cartridge cost and waste. A Low Soap Level Indicator tells maintenance when a refill is due, and an adjustable soap control dial sets the dose to suit patron preference and the soap budget.

The counter needs a 1-3/8 in. (35mm) diameter hole; for retrofits, open an existing smaller hole to that size with a hole saw. Bobrick lists the dispenser as ADA compliant, and the sensor belongs within the 15 to 48 in. reach range in ADA 308. It is made in three finishes: polished chrome, brushed nickel, and matte black.
