Bobrick B-872

For bulk liquid soap at a counter, the Bobrick B-872 is the new-look Designer Series automatic dispenser in matte black with a diecast zinc spout body. It is part of the TrimLineSeries and is designed to match the Designer Series faucet, giving hospitality and commercial lavatories a coordinated black spout pair.

Users hold a hand under the spout and the touch-free sensor dispenses without contact. Refilling is done from the top, above the counter, a design Bobrick patented to cut maintenance time. The dispenser runs on economical bulk jug soap rather than cartridges, which lowers cost-in-use and waste. A Low Soap Level Indicator signals maintenance before the unit runs empty, and the soap control dial adjusts the amount dispensed per activation.

Drill the counter 1-3/8 in. (35mm) in diameter; in an existing counter, enlarge the hole with a hole saw if needed. Bobrick lists it as ADA compliant, with the sensor placed within the 15 to 48 in. reach range in ADA 308. Polished chrome and brushed nickel versions are also made.
