Bradley 2489-000000

The Bradley 2489-000000 is a surface-mounted electronic roll towel dispenser with sensor activation, in a plastic housing, for commercial restrooms that want touch-free towels. It accepts universal paper roll towels and works with a variety of paper types, including 1,000 foot high capacity rolls, so a facility is not tied to one paper supplier.

Bradley's patented sensing technology gives quiet, reliable activation and extends battery life. Settings for sheet length, time delay, sensor range, and dispensing mode are adjustable, which lets a facility control usage. LED indicators show activation, low battery, low paper, and paper jams, so a custodian knows what a unit needs before opening it. A manual push bar dispenses towel if the batteries run down, and the lockable covers are vandal resistant. The dispenser is battery operated, with an optional A/C adapter, and includes a mounting template for fast installation.

Bradley rates the unit ADA compliant when installed per its guidelines. Sensor activation avoids the lever push covered by the 5 lbf limit in ADA 309.4, and the backup push bar is the only operable part users touch. Keep operable parts within the 15 to 48 in. reach range of ADA 308 and check the projection against the 4 in. limit of ADA 307.2 in circulation paths.
