The C prefix marks channel-frame mirrors from 18 x 30 to 24 x 36 in. FT marks fixed-position tilt mirrors in 18 x 30 and 18 x 36 in. After frame and size, consider a tilt mirror at the accessible lavatory. The FT-18X30 and FT-18X36 are the fixed-position tilt mirrors in this range. Height is the inspection item. ADA Section 603.3 caps the bottom edge of the reflecting surface at 40 in. when the mirror hangs over a lavatory or countertop. Anywhere else, the cap is 35 in. A top edge at least 74 in. above the floor, as the section's advisory suggests, lets standing and seated users both see.
