Bobrick B-211

The Bobrick B-211 is a heavy-duty clothes hook for toilet compartments, locker rooms, and dressing areas where hooks take abuse. The hook and flange are cast as one piece of brass and satin nickel-plated so the finish reads the same as the satin stainless steel accessories around it. It withstands a 300 lbs (136 kg) downward pull.

The flange is 2 3/4 in. (70 mm) in diameter with three exposed countersunk screw holes, so it mounts directly through the face with no concealed plate. The hook projects 3 7/16 in. (85 mm) from the surface. A one-piece casting has no joint between hook and flange to bend or crack, and the exposed screws let maintenance staff tighten or replace the hook from the front.

Bobrick lists the B-211 as ADA compliant. The 3 7/16 in. projection stays under the 4 in. limit ADA 307.2 sets for objects with a leading edge 27 to 80 in. above the floor, so the hook can be placed in a circulation path without becoming a protruding object.
