Bobrick B-212

The Bobrick B-212 is a surface-mounted clothes hook with a bumper, made for toilet compartment doors and partitions where a plain hook would mark the panel or wall behind it. It is a solid aluminum casting with a matte aluminum finish.

The rubber bumper is the point of the design. When the compartment door swings open, the bumper meets the wall or adjacent partition before the metal does, so it protects the surface from chips and scratches. A solid casting gives the hook one piece of metal rather than an assembled hook and base. There is no joint to work loose under a heavy coat or bag.

Bobrick lists the B-212 as ADA compliant. Use it on compartment doors, in dressing rooms, and in shower rooms where a coat, towel, or bag needs a place to hang. The bumper matters most on doors that open against a finished wall, where a bare hook would leave a mark every time the door hits.
