Bobrick B-3725.MBLK

The Bobrick B-3725.MBLK is a recessed automatic hand dryer from the QuietDry Series in the Matte Black Collection, made for restrooms where the design calls for dark fixtures and a flush wall. The cover is type 304 stainless steel with a matte black powder coated finish. Bobrick rates it at a 17-second dry time, 70 dBA, and a 1.0kW power rating.

Hands go into a 6 in. deep drying alcove with a curved back and a ceramic water absorbent surface, so the water that blows off the hands is captured and evaporates instead of dripping on the floor. Because the dryer is recessed, it sits flush in a framed wall opening and does not protrude into the room. Bobrick describes the design as patented. It is offered in 115V AC (8.5 Amp, 50/60 Hz, 1000 Watts, single phase, cULus Listed) and in 208-240V AC (4.0-4.4 Amp, 50/60 Hz, 832-1056 Watts, single phase, cULus Listed, CE and G-marked), and the latter meets the AS/NZS 600335 electrical safety requirement.

Bobrick lists the B-3725.MBLK as ADA compliant. A recessed dryer is the cleanest way to satisfy ADA 307.2, which caps wall-mounted projections at 4 in. where the leading edge is between 27 and 80 in. above the floor. Other finishes of the B-3725 are listed separately.
