Gamco DR-5125

The Gamco DR-5125 is a surface-mounted high speed hand dryer with a HEPA filter and a satin stainless steel cover. It suits commercial restrooms in offices, schools, and public buildings where the owner wants to retire paper towels, the waste receptacles that go with them, and the labor of restocking both. Gamco lists the unit as ADA compliant.

Surface mounting puts the dryer on the finished wall with no wall cavity or framed opening, which keeps the install simple in existing restrooms. The HEPA filter cleans the air the dryer draws in before it reaches the user's hands, a point that matters in healthcare and other settings where air quality is a concern. The satin stainless steel cover wipes down with the rest of the room's accessories and stands up to daily use.

ADA Section 307.2 limits wall-mounted objects to a 4 in. projection where the leading edge falls between 27 and 80 in. above the floor, so check the projection on the technical data sheet against the mounting height for your restroom. A matte black version of this dryer is listed separately.
