Families such as the 2A05 come in recessed, semi-recessed, and surface-mounted versions. The 2A05 pairs a folded towel dispenser with a 12 or 18 gal. receptacle. The 2A25 moves to a sensored roll paper towel over a 21 gal. receptacle for touch-free drying. The 2037 holds 11.2 gal. of waste, and 234 series units add hinged cover or push flap door options. On a public restroom project, the architect or contractor usually calls these out on the accessory schedule.

Choose the towel type before the cabinet. Folded towel models need no batteries and are simple to service, while sensored roll units meter towels and keep the station hands-free. Then decide on capacity and door style. Surface-mounted cabinets deserve a check against ADA Section 307.2. Its limit is 4 in. of projection into a circulation path at heights of 27 to 80 in. A recessed version is often the simpler answer for that reason. Bradley lists most of this range as ADA compliant.
