Where a compartment also needs tissue and seat cover dispensers, a combination unit can hold all three functions instead.

Let the wall construction narrow the choice. Surface-mounted disposals install on any wall or partition, while recessed units sit flush and need a framed opening. A semi-recessed model such as the 4737-100000 needs a shallower cavity than a fully recessed one. The partition-mounted 4721-150000 requires a cutout in the partition panel, so order the partitions with it. Bradley lists these disposals as ADA compliant. Where a disposal must be accessible, keep it within the unobstructed reach range of ADA Section 308, 15 to 48 in. above the floor. Section 309.4 limits operating force to 5 pounds.
