ASI 0199-1

The ASI 0199-1 Turbo-ADA is a surface-mounted high speed hand dryer in white, wired for 115-120V. It dries hands in less than 15 seconds and runs automatically from an infrared sensor, which makes it a fit for high-traffic restrooms in schools, offices, and public buildings where paper towel waste is the problem to solve. The cover measures 10-5/8 x 8-15/32 x 4 in. (270 x 215 x 102 mm).

The owner can adjust both air speed and air temperature, so the same dryer can be tuned quieter for a small office or turned up for a busy lobby. Heating can be switched on or off, which trims the electrical load in warm climates or where the circuit is shared. An auto-resetting thermostat protects the heating element, and the dryer shuts itself off after a time-out once the user's hands leave the sensor zone.

ASI lists the Turbo-ADA as ADA compliant, and its 4 in. depth meets the 4 in. maximum projection in ADA 307.2, so it can be surface mounted without an alcove. Another finish is listed separately.
