ASI 0398-D

The ASI 0398-D is a recessed soap dish with a bar for showers and tub surrounds in dormitories, locker rooms, and institutional bathrooms. It is a type 304 stainless steel unit with a bright polished exterior and a sand blasted interior. Overall it measures 7-1/8 in. by 5 in. by 4 in. (181 x 127 x 102 mm) and recesses into a wall opening 6-1/8 in. by 4-1/8 in. by 4 in. (156 x 105 x 102 mm).

The sand blasted interior gives the dish a matte surface so a wet bar of soap does not slide around, while the polished face wipes clean. The Model #40 mounting clamp for stud walls is included, so the dish installs in a framed wall without a separate clamp order. Recessing the dish keeps the tray itself flush with the finished wall in a tight shower stall.
