ASI 0400-D

The ASI 0400-D is a recessed heavy-duty soap dish without a bar, a plain stainless steel tray that sits flush in a shower or tub wall. It is type 304 stainless steel with a bright polished exterior. Face dimensions are 7-1/8 in. by 5 in. (180 x 130 mm), and it needs a wall opening 6-1/8 in. wide by 4-1/8 in. high by 4 in. deep (155 x 105 x 100 mm).

Leaving off the bar gives an open tray with nothing to catch a washcloth or collect residue, which some facilities prefer for cleaning. The mounting clamp for stud walls is optional and purchased separately, so add it to the order when the dish goes into a framed wall.

ASI lists the 0400-D as ADA compliant. A similar version with a bar is listed separately, and a wet wall version with a cement wall kit is listed as well.
