ASI 0399

Meant for wet walls, the ASI 0399 is a recessed stainless steel soap dish with a bar. It ships with both a stud wall mounting clamp and a kit for installing in a cement wall. That makes it the version to order for tiled block or poured concrete shower rooms in schools, gyms, and correctional or institutional buildings. The dish is type 304 stainless steel, 7-1/8 in. by 5 in. (180 x 130 mm) on the face, with a wall opening 6-1/8 in. by 4-1/8 in. by 4 in. (155 x 105 x 100 mm).

The exterior is bright polished; the interior is sand blasted to a dull finish so a wet bar of soap stays put instead of sliding into the tray edge. Because the dish is recessed, it sits flush in the wet wall where a surface-mounted dish would project into the stall.

ASI lists the 0399 as ADA compliant. The same dish is listed separately without the cement wall kit, and a version with no bar is also listed for showers that only need a tray.
