Bobrick B-3513

The Bobrick B-3513 is a recessed sanitary napkin disposal from the TrimLineSeries, built for toilet compartments where a flush unit is wanted. The satin-finish stainless steel cabinet fits a rough wall opening 6-3/8 in. wide by 12-3/8 in. high with a minimum depth of 3-3/4 in. (162 x 314 x 95 mm). Its removable waste bin holds 0.5 gal. (1.9 L), a size matched to a single compartment.

The door closes against the cabinet on a magnet catch, so it stays shut between uses with no mechanical latch to break. A cable door-swing limiter stops the door at its open position and keeps it from being forced past the hinge. To service the unit, custodial staff open the door, lift out the waste bin, and set in a fresh one. They never touch the contents, the routine OSHA bloodborne pathogen practices call for.

Bobrick lists the B-3513 as ADA compliant. Set the door within the 15 to 48 in. reach range in ADA 308 so a seated user can operate it. Recessed mounting keeps the face flush with the wall, which suits accessible compartments where a projecting cabinet would eat into clear floor space.
