Bobrick B-353

Bobrick's B-353 is a recessed sanitary napkin disposal in the ClassicSeries, a fit for schools, offices, and public restrooms that standardize on Bobrick's classic stainless accessories. It is made of satin-finish stainless steel and recesses into a rough wall opening 11 1/4 in. wide, 15 5/8 in. high, and 4 in. minimum depth (285 x 395 x 100 mm). The receptacle holds 1.3 gal. (4.8 L).

A self-closing panel covers the disposal opening, so the contents stay out of sight and the compartment stays cleaner between service rounds. The door has a tumbler lock, which keeps users out of the cabinet and reserves access for keyed staff. Inside is a removable, leak-proof plastic receptacle. Staff unlock the door, lift the receptacle out, and replace or reline it without handling waste directly, in line with OSHA bloodborne pathogen practices. The beveled flange has no exposed seams and sits tight to the wall finish.

The unit is listed as ADA compliant; mount it so the self-closing panel falls within the 15 to 48 in. reach range in ADA 308. Recessed installation keeps the disposal flush in accessible compartments where a surface unit would project into the floor space.
