Bobrick B-4353

The Bobrick B-4353 is a recessed sanitary napkin disposal in the ConturaSeries, sized for a single accessible or standard toilet compartment. The cabinet is satin-finish stainless steel and fits a rough wall opening 11 1/4 in. wide, 9 1/2 in. high, and 4 in. minimum depth (285 x 240 x 100 mm). Its removable plastic receptacle holds 1.2 gal. (4.6 L).

The self-closing door pulls down to expose the disposal, then returns on its own so the opening is never left uncovered. The receptacle is leak-proof and lifts out for emptying. Staff swap it or reline it without touching waste, the practice OSHA bloodborne pathogen guidance is built around. The 9 1/2 in. opening height is a point to note where a taller cabinet will not fit between other accessories on the wall.

Bobrick lists the B-4353 as ADA compliant. In accessible compartments, locate the pull-down door within the 15 to 48 in. reach range of ADA 308. Recessing the cabinet keeps the face flush and out of the compartment's clear floor space.
