Bobrick B-5270

The Bobrick B-5270 is a surface-mounted sanitary napkin disposal molded in grey ABS plastic, a practical option for retrofits and for restrooms where a stainless steel cabinet is not required. The unit is 9 1/4 in. wide, 11 3/8 in. high, and 3 7/8 in. deep (235 x 290 x 100 mm), and it holds 1.3 gal. (4.8 L).

The lid has fingertip handles, so users open it easily and custodians get into it quickly on service rounds. Surface mounting means no wall cutout: the unit fastens to a partition panel or finished wall, which makes it the simple choice when adding disposals to existing compartments. The durable ABS body holds up in daily use.

Bobrick lists the B-5270 as ADA compliant. Mount it so the lid falls within the 15 to 48 in. reach range in ADA 308 where the compartment is accessible, and keep it beside the toilet where a seated user can reach it.
