Bradley 8120-001120

The Bradley 8120-001120 is a 12 in. straight grab bar from the 812 Series, in 18 gauge satin finish stainless steel with 1-1/2 in. outside diameter tubing. A 12 in. bar is the shortest straight length carried, used wherever a short grip is needed, such as beside a shower entry.

Mounting is concealed, so the flanges show no fastener heads after installation. Bradley builds the 812 Series in multiple dimensions and configurations, with an optional Safety Grip and a peened finish. Steadycare models rated to 1,000 lb cover bariatric use. The 18 gauge stainless is the same material used across the series, so a 12 in. bar matches longer bars on the same wall.

Bradley states that its heavy duty grab bars, properly mounted, meet or exceed ANSI A117.1, ADAAG, and UFAS. It lists the 8120 as ADA compliant and Buy American Act compliant. The 1-1/2 in. OD sits inside the 1-1/4 to 2 in. range in ADA 609.2, and the bar carries the 250 lb load in ADA 609.8 when fastened into blocking. Longer 812 Series bars are listed separately.
