Bradley 8B1-0011800

The Bradley 8B1-0011800 is an Elvari Series commercial grab bar, a designer bar for restrooms where the accessories are part of the architecture. Instead of a round tube it uses an oval profile on a standoff, in satin finish stainless steel, and mounts flangeless with concealed hardware. It matches the rest of the Elvari accessory line, so a hotel, office, or club washroom can keep one look across the whole accessory package.

The flangeless concealed mounting leaves no visible screws or trim rings on the wall, which is the point of the design. Optional hooks, two per bar, let a user hang a bag or cane while using the fixture. The gripping surface comes in a standard or peened finish, and the bar is offered in 6 finishes: satin stainless, brushed stainless, brushed nickel, brushed black, brushed brass, and brushed bronze.

Bradley lists the Elvari grab bar as ADA compliant. Under ADA 609.8 the bar must hold a 250 lb load applied at any point, which means anchoring into solid blocking behind the finished wall. Elvari bars come in a variety of lengths, and the other lengths and finishes are listed separately.
