Bradley 8322-001240

The Bradley 8322-001240 is a 24 in. commercial grab bar with a peened Safety Grip finish, part of the 832 Series with concealed mounting. The bar is 18 gauge stainless steel with a 1-1/4 in. outside diameter and surface mounts to the wall. Choose it for shower rooms, tub surrounds, and other wet areas where a smooth satin bar can be slippery.

Peening roughens the stainless tube itself, so the texture lasts as long as the bar and never peels like a sprayed-on grip. Because the mounting is concealed, the installed bar shows no flange screws, which limits tampering and makes wipe-down cleaning faster. Bradley's listing marks the 832 Series as Buy American Act compliant.

Bradley rates the 832 Series to support up to 250 lb and states that the bar meets ANSI A117.1, ADAAG, and UFAS when it is properly mounted. Its 1-1/4 in. diameter is within the ADA 609.2 gripping surface range, and anchoring into blocking lets it resist the 250 lb load in ADA 609.8.
