Automatic Soap Dispensers

An automatic soap dispenser meters a fixed dose with no push bar, so high-traffic and healthcare restrooms go touch-free. This page collects the sensor-operated dispensers from Bobrick, ASI, Gamco, and Bradley. Most are counter-mounted. Bobrick's Fino Collection, ClassicSeries, TrimLineSeries, and Designer Series spouts sit beside the lavatory and refill from the top. Finishes run polished chrome, brushed nickel, brushed brass, polished graphite, and matte black. The rest hang on the wall. ASI and Gamco list surface-mounted cabinets for liquid soap, foam soap, and gel hand sanitizer. Bobrick's surface-mounted liquid and foam units come in satin or matte black. Foam and liquid are separate models.

Choose by soap type and mounting. The Bobrick B-828 is a counter-mounted automatic top-fill foam dispenser in polished chrome. Behind a bank of lavatories, the B-820 multi-feed reservoir holds 6 L and feeds up to six automatic foam or liquid dispensers. On the wall, the ASI 0360 dispenses liquid soap or gel hand sanitizer from a 35 oz. satin stainless steel cabinet. Each product page states the power source. The ASI 0390-1A vanity mounted dispenser is battery operated, while the 0390-1AC is plug in. The sensor is an operable part, so it has to land within an ADA reach range. Over a counter, the 2010 ADA Standards cap a high forward reach at 48 in. where the reach depth is 20 in. or less. Where the reach runs deeper, up to 25 in., the cap drops to 44 in. (Section 308.2.2).
