Pick the mounting based on the wall and the path of travel. ADA Section 307.2 limits objects between 27 and 80 in. above the floor to 4 in. of projection into a circulation path. Recessed and semi-recessed cabinets keep the face closer to the wall, though both need a framed opening. For a matte black restroom, the B-37063.MBLK and B-370634.MBLK each hold 30 tampons and 20 napkins. Bobrick lists these vendors as ADA compliant, and the installer still has to set the operable parts within reach.
