Start with operation. Free-vend is the standard for schools, employers, and healthcare, while coin operation still makes sense in some public venues. Several states now require free menstrual products in public school restrooms, which points districts toward the -F models. Then read the wall. Surface-mounted cabinets install on any wall, and semi-recessed or recessed cabinets need a framed opening. ADA 309.3 keeps operable parts within the Section 308 reach ranges, and 309.4 limits the force to operate them to 5 pounds. The majority of ASI vendors are listed as ADA compliant.
