ASI Shower Accessories

ASI shower accessories outfit the accessible shower, the locker room, and the hotel tub. Folding shower seats come in rectangular and L-shaped forms with solid phenolic, padded phenolic, or stainless steel seats. L-shaped models such as the 8205-R are 33 in. wide and come in left-hand and right-hand versions. The line also covers a corner shower seat, the 8358 fold-up tub seat, and soap dishes in bright polished or satin stainless. White vinyl 1200-V curtains are 72 in. high and 36 to 84 in. wide. Plan the wall before the seat. Recessed soap dishes sit flush in tile, and the 0401 wet wall dish includes a cement wall kit. The surface-mounted 7320-S suits renovations. Under ADA 610.3, the seat top belongs 17 to 19 in. above the bathroom finish floor. A seat provided in a roll-in shower must fold. In a transfer shower, the seat runs from the back wall to within 3 in. of the entry. Rectangular and L-shaped seats each carry edge limits in 610.3.1 and 610.3.2, so compare seat dimensions to the compartment. Each ASI folding seat is listed as ADA compliant.
