ASI Porcelain Steel Whiteboards

ASI porcelain steel whiteboards put a porcelain enamel writing surface over a steel substrate, so the whole board is magnetic and will not ghost or stain. ASI Visual Display Products makes them in three aluminum frame series. Series 9100 is a 9/32 in. clear anodized trim with a square corner frame, as on the 910101404, or a radius corner frame, as on the 910105404. Series 9300 is the heavy-duty 1-1/2 in. frame. Series 9800 comes as a 4-sided frame or with an angle tray or a flat tray. Sizes run from 2 ft. x 3 ft. up to 4 ft. x 12 ft., and Series 9100 and 9300 add 3 ft. x 2 ft. and 4 ft. x 3 ft. boards. School districts, university planners, and office fit-out teams specify porcelain for any board that gets daily use.

Choose the frame for the room and the size for the wall. The 9800 is a 3/4 in. exposed frame built for direct-to-wall installation, and the angle tray version adds a marker tray. The 9300 face stands 1/4 in. off the writing surface. The surface is the same porcelain in all three. A long wall takes one large board, such as the 4 ft. x 12 ft. 930101412, or several boards in one series so the frames match. Where a board hangs along a circulation path, ADA Section 307.2 applies. An object whose bottom edge is between 27 and 80 in. above the floor may project 4 in. maximum, so check the tray depth before you set the height.
